Recent outfits and meetings ♡

Hello everyone! This is a quick update of outfits and meetings. A couple weeks ago a Lolita friend was holding a birthday party so I put together a quick outfit. Even though I have three skirts that I haven't worn yet I decided I wanted to wear my Cherish My Juicy Cherry JSK again! I think I only wanted an excuse to wear my new bolero and tights.

Dress; Baby, The Stars Shine Bright
Bolero: Le Carrousel
Bag: Angelic Pretty
The rest is off-brand

So I tried a bear and cherry themed outfit, I put a cherry clip on my straw hat but the picture doesn't show this detail. I received some critiques about using the navy bolero, saying that a red one would be better but last time I wore this dress I had a red bolero on so I wanted to try something new, I think this would have worked better if I had more navy accessories.

Today I went to an open meeting organized by the comm, I didn't stay much since my closest Lolita friends weren't there and I'm shy like a hermit crab. But I did wear something I liked very much, it was a rather last minute coord but I think it's one of my favorites so far.

Skirt: Angelic Pretty's Rose Dress Up
Blouse: Random Japanese brand
Cardigan: Riachuelo
The rest is off-brand

This coord would have popped more if I had more matching accessories but I'm so happy with it because it does represent well what kind of Lolita I am, the colors and overall aesthetic is so me! I didn't think light pink would look good with navy but I was surprised to see how pretty those colors are together.

Obligatory selfie ♡
And here are some "artistic" pictures I took during the meeting:

I didn't have a navy or light pink bag so I took this one with me AGAIN, I added a navy bow so it didn't look totally off.
My friend Ana Clara, who looked beautiful on her Le Carrousel dress.
This gorgeous picture of my rings was taken by my beloved boyfriend.
The Bistrot we had the meeting had an exquisite and beautiful decor so even if we stayed for just a couple hours it was worth it.

And, just want to share this great find, I went to Thaís Gusmão because I was running out of my favorite home spray and was lucky enough that my boyfriend spotted a gorgeous glitter bangle that was the very last one they had in store.

It resembles Chocomint ones but is a lot more delicate. I'm always happy to find loliable things off-line and since my wardrobe keeps getting more red accents this bracelet is a lovely addition.

My birthday is just around the corner so that means I'll be getting my latest Japan haul shipped soon! I can barely wait for more pretty things to arrive!

Q-pot wishlist ♡

Hello everyone! I suppose most of you are familiar with Q-pot, a Japanese brand that makes the most beautiful and realistic gourmand jewelry out there. They have all kinds of exquisite jewelry and they pair perfectly with Lolita and Otome-kei. I'm still yet to buy my fisrt Q-pot items but everyone is allowed to dream so I picked some favorites from their website.

(This last one is a beret *u*)

Aren't those dreamy? I hope I can start a collection of Q-pot jewelry in the near future *swooning*

Outfit inspired by a location: Disneyland ♡

Hello everyone! I've recently joined the Lolita Blog Carnival an online community for all the international Lolita bloggers. The theme voted this week was "Outfit inspired by a location". I knew this would be easy for me since I have Promenade de Paris OP and tights but going for them would be a little too obvious so I decided to put together an outfit inspired by Disneyland! I could've put a coord together on Photoshop or Polyvore but I chose to use my own clothes instead. Planning outfits with dream items that I might never get sounds too painful for me, better work with things I already own so I can actually wear it if I get the chance. I've never been to Disneyland but I hope I will have the opportunity someday *dreams*.

I don't have another pair of shoes that would work with this coord but if I was actually going to Disneyland I would change the shoes in the picture for a black or red pair of Converse shoes to keep casual and comfy.

I cringe whenever I see pictures of outfits spread on the bed with the shoe's soles touching the bedding or even the clothes. Why people do that?? I know it looks better without a paper underneath the shoes but I'm all up for hygiene.
Skirt: Rockabilly Dot by Angelic Pretty
Accesories: Chocomint, off-brand
Headbow: Le Carrousel
Cardigan: Riachuelo
Bag: Angelic Pretty
The rest is off-brand

And here I included two versions of the same outfit just to show how it looks on and how versatile this skirt is, which one do you like the best?

*sorry about the quality :( *
