Update Dream Dress List ♡

Hello! Time to update my Dream Dress List, now I'm more educated with the actual concept of a dream dress, which is not only a dress on your wishlist but a dress you are willing to go a little further to get your hands on. I'm also checking Petit Patisserie out of the list since now I own it and Misty Sky, Chibi Tenshi was able to grab me the navy OP during the re-re-re-release, also changing my preferred color-way for Melty Cream Doughnuts because I got the pink skirt. So here is the list of DD's I'm yet to get:

Lotta

I've wanted this dress ever since I laid my eyes on it, I'd be more than happy with the pink one too.

Lucky Key

A release I originally ignored but it grew on me to the point it became a real priority (it's a tie with Lotta), Only this cut will do.

Melty Cream Doughnuts

Another one of the first dresses I felt in love with, since I got the pink skirt now I'd like to get the OP or regular JSK in any color but pink, mint would be my first pick followed by ivory.

Honey Cake

The dress that got me in Lolita! At the very beginning it was my highest priority but it soon lost the throne to Toy March, I'd be more than pleased with the yellow colorway too.

Toy March

I am obsessed with Toy March, only the navy or the green JSK will do it, I'd buy it in Ivory but would still seek after the navy. I'm pretty sure that it will forever be my ultimate dream dress.

I'd wouldn't say those are Dream Dresses but also on the top of my wishlist:

Cameo Window JSK (red)

Mini Meeting with friends ♡

Our comm originally had a Star Wars themed meeting on May 1st, which was canceled. But meetings are necessary when you have to pick up group orders or items you bought from local girls, etc. Plus we barely had any meetings this semester so I suggested a small get-together with friends.

The day before the meeting I woke up very sick and I got even worse by now but I'm not the type to flake out, specially when I'm the one who came up with the idea. However I wanted to keep it simple, since I wasn't feeling well at all, so I didn't even wear a wig, which I kind of regret but I guess since it was a small, casual meeting it's excusable.

The other reason I wanted the girls to meet was to celebrate that we finally have "cold" weather here. It was really unexpected how the weather changed completely from one week to another, just when I was starting to accept that we were going to have no winter this year and trying to come up with light and comfortable outfits to adjust to our hot as hell climate...bam! We get 12 C average, which might not seem too low, but when you live in a tropical country and is used to 30 C it's cold enough.

Although I have four new, never worn by me, main pieces sitting in my closet I decided to wear Rose Dress-Up again, I wanted something very toned-down and elegant to match my new oxford shoes and brooch so the light pink and black combo was only natural.

The pictures ended up sloppy since I took them five hours after I got dressed when bows are not well placed anymore, skirt gets wrinkled and showing face is out of question. Tights had an interesting pattern that didn't show well on camera, hair hid the brooch, and as usual pictures didn't make outfit justice.

Skirt: Angelic Pretty
Blouse: Amavel
Bag: Angelic Pretty
Headbow: Le Carrousel
Rest: off-brand

The place I suggested for us to go was Faire La Bombe, which I had visited a couple of weeks before, they have all types of éclairs, including savory ones. I ordered a green apple Italian soda, Caprese salad with a prosciutto and gruyère éclair and for dessert an almond éclair and a gold passion fruit one.

If the food was good? I'll never know. I'm sick to the point I couldn't taste anything, it's quite frustrating.
We took a few group pictures, unfortunately almost all of them were blurry but a guy at Faire La Bombe asked us if he could take our picture and then was kind enough to send us. I love the picture although it made me realize that I've gained some weight.

Me, Amy and Annah.
Ana Carolina also showed up later to join us but she was only there for the blurry pictures. Amy brought me the make-up I bought with her and Ana brought Annah's liquid lipsticks. We invited a few other girls who we needed to pick up things with but they couldn't make it.

More Barbie make-up!
I really enjoyed the mini meeting, it was my first time going out in Lolita with a small group and it's just as nice as going to a regular meet.

Update time: less than two months for Japan! Currently waiting for the invoice to pay for Fancy Paper Dolls tiered JSK in lavender and matching headbow, checking another dress out of my wishlist. probably the last one I'll buy before Japan and one of the dresses I'll be wearing there :)
